Course Description

Master the art of chainmaking—sterling silver, your way. From classic traditional links to bold hand-forged designs, you'll build real technical range while learning a variety of clasp styles. Make your chain bracelet-length, necklace-length, or both.

Then take it further: dive into charm-making with prong and bezel settings for small stones. Add movement, sparkle, and personality to every link.

Walk away with two finished pieces—a bracelet and a necklace—both entirely handmade by you.

Please note, students should either have prior jewelry-making experience or have completed the Absolute Beginners course.

Supplies Students Should Purchase

  • 3 ft of 16-gauge round sterling silver wire
  • 2 ft of 14-gauge round sterling silver wire
  • 1 ft of 10-gauge round sterling silver wire

  • Hard, Medium, and Easy solder if needed

  • Any stones you'd like to include (optional)
